Which players have Laos picked for the 2022 AFF Championship?
Laos are a regular at the AFF Championship, even if they have yet to survive the group stages.
In fact, they have not managed to win a single game since 2-1 victory over Cambodia in 2004.
They will be looking to end that barren run at the 2022 edition of the tournament, but know that a tough task lies ahead.
They were paired with the likes of Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore and Vietnam in Group B and will kick off their campaign with a home match versus title favourites Vietnam on December 21.
Here's a look at the squad selected by head coach Michael Weiss.
All four goalkeepers chosen by Laos for the AFF Mitsubishi Electric Cup have just a few appearances between them.
Keo-Oudone Souvannasangso is their most experienced goalkeeper and he also featured at the AFF Championship in 2020, making him the prime candidate for the No.1 jersey.

DEFENDERS
Kaharn Phetsivilay is the most experienced centre-back in the squad and will be key to Laos' hopes to grind out results.
He could line up alongside Anantaza Siphongphan, who has featured in all of Laos' last four games.

MIDFIELDERS
Soukaphone Vongchiengkham will be the main man for Laos in midfield, with the Trat ace just a few appearances short of becoming his country's most-capped player, while he is also on his way to becoming their all-time top goal scorer.
Phithack Kongmathilath is another familiar name Laos will be counting upon.
Bounphachan Bounkong, however, will not be available for the AFF Championship.

ATTACKERS
Laos has left out strikers like Visith Bounpaserth, Phouvieng Phounsavath and Anousone Xaypanya, who featured in their last few friendly games.
Star player Billy Ketkeophomphone has made the cut, however, as has promising youngster Chony Wenpaserth.
